ANWAR FAIZD OSMAN was born in Georgetown, Penang. He has a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He is currently the Head of 5G Product Development for Telekom Malaysia. In Telekom Malaysia, he leads the End to End roadmap development for Telekom Malaysia (TM) 5G Core as a Service, which include Network Slicing, 5G Standalone solutions and related 5G Value Added Services. Prior to Telekom Malaysia, he has worked in Rohde & Schwarz, Agilent Technologies, Motorola Solutions and Intel Malaysia. He has published multiple technical papers on LNA, RF switches, and RF filter designs. His research interests include wireless testing for mobile operators and interference hunting. Mr. Osman has been a Committee Member of IEEE ED/MTT/SSC Penang Chapter since 2015, currently serves as the Chapter Auditor. He was a part of the National 5G Taskforce Member and the Chairperson of the 5G Ecosystem and Timeline Sub-Working Group, under the Spectrum Working Group of the Task Force.

CHUN-YEOW YEOH received the B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is currently principal researcher and director of COE for Advanced Cloud with Telekom Malaysia R&D. He has been a delegate to the 3GPP 4G/5G standardization group and led the development of Quantum initiatives on PQC/QKD and Quantum enabled optimization, Open Innovation Platform, Autonomous Networks and worked on multiple cloud enabled projects. He has filed several patents and contributed to the development of 5G specifications in Malaysia. His current research interests include semantic communication, beyond 5G/6G networks, embedded systems, AI, quantum and edge containerization.

HAFIZAL MOHAMAD, FASc is the recipient of ASEAN Outstanding Scientist and Technologist Award (AOSTA) 2017 and Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) by Academy of Sciences Malaysia. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He was a Senior Staff Researcher at Corporate Technology Division, MIMOS Berhad. Hafizal has more than 25 years working experience in the ICT industry and passionate about creating a hyper-connected world. He is the co-inventor of 36 filed patents and nine granted patents in the field of wireless communications. He served as a visiting fellow at NICT, Japan in 2005. He has published over 100 journal and conference papers. He has delivered keynote and expert talks at national and international events. Hafizal is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA and he has served in various leadership roles in the IEEE, including the Vice Chair for IEEE Malaysia Section (2013), the General Co-Chair of IEEE WCNC 2024, and the Conference Operation Chair of IEEE ICC 2016. Hafizal has also been appointed as an expert panel for technical committees related to E&E and ICT areas. Hafizal earned BEng (first class) and PhD degrees in electronic engineering from University of Southampton, UK. He is a registered professional engineer with Board of Engineer Malaysia and a certified HRDF trainer.
